Size & Design
The Galaxy Samsung S2 is really a slim and light-weight phone when in comparison to its predecessor. It is available in a comparatively small package calculating just 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm and weighing 116 grams. However though, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a lot thicker sitting at 115 x 66 x 10.5 mm that also means it weighs in at more - 132 grams.
The BlackBerry Bold Touch has stored with traditional BlackBerry phone styling that is rather unattractive when in comparison with the appearance of the Galaxy S2 along with other modern mobile phones. The overall design and corners from the 9900 helps make the phone feel and look a little cheap. The Galaxy S2 includes a smartly designed little shape passing on an infinitely more attractive design.
Samsung S2 Versus BlackBerry Bold 9900
The Samsung Galaxy S2 includes a capacitive super AMOLED touch screen that is vibrant and vivid. The screen can show up to and including 480 x 800 pixels. The screen can also be quite large calculating 4.3 inches across as well as posseses an accelerometer, multi-touch input, TouchWiz UI 4. and gyro sensors. The entire screen is included with Gorilla glass coating the industry toughened material made to boost the protection from the screen and stop damage from daily knocks and bumps.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 however is a lot more fragile using its small display size in contrast calculating just 2.3 inches. It utilizes a capacitive touch screen technology known as 'graphical liquid' which supplies a 640 x 480 pixel resolution. Additional features range from the optical track pad, full hardware keyboard as well as an accelerometer.
The sheer size and excellence of the Galaxy S 2 display puts any cell phone to shame, however when in comparison from the display about the BlackBerry Bold Touch you need to question what BlackBerry were thinking!
Storage Features
The Samsung Galaxy S2 includes 16GB of memory that is ample for all your pictures, music and films. If however 16GB is not enough you are able to expand about this with as many as one more 32GB using a MicroSD memory.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 only provides 8 GB of memory. However additionally, it may support a Sd card as high as 32 GB. Even though Galaxy S 2 has more storage, Personally, i don't understand why you'd require more than 8GB in your phone.
Technically the Samsung Galaxy S 2 is the foremost phone, but when your much like me and find it difficult to write messages utilizing a touch screen keyboard then mobile phone models such as the BlackBerry having a full Texting keyboard are perfect.
